The Kent School of Social Work and Family Science offers five degree programs to meet your educational needs as you develop your professional skills in the fields of social work and couple and family therapy. We offer seven concentrations to tailor your professional pathway: Alcohol and Drug Counseling, Gerontology, Forensics, Mental Health, Military, Psychosocial Oncology/Medical and School Social Work. 

If you are considering a minor, we have two offerings. Our Social Work and Applied Science minors can round out your education by enhancing your major. From a degree in Fine Arts to Nursing, one of these minors might be just what you need. Learn to engage and serve diverse populations in your main area of study.
